1.Call to Order 7:00 pm by Chair Ram Kuppuswami.

3.Resident Comment Period
a.Resident Steve Schoenly spoke about an incident with a neighbor’s security alarm, or smoke detector alarm, going off. He contacted the fire department and LC Sheriff’s department, but still going off. Lt. Leonard suggested he call again.
4.LCSO Reports
a.Deputy Payne and Lt. Leonard spoke about changes to the NW program: two classes per year will be required for NW groups to attend, and one mandatory coordinators meeting per year. Communication between local NW groups was stressed.
b. A reminder was given that with warmer weather coming and the economic situation, crime will increase, but the Sheriff’s department offers free home security checks for interested and concerned residents.
c.An internet safety meeting was scheduled for May 4th with Deputy Payne and residents who sign up – flyers will be handed out at the May 2nd yard sale. A home security meeting was scheduled for October 5th with Deputy Payne and interested residents who sign up.

a.Committee will recruit new patrollers at the Spring yard sale on May 2nd, with a “choose your own two hours” theme.
