Faded Old Glory

Residents may drop off old or damaged US flags at Town Hall for proper retirement. A SR Boy Scout Troop has offered to retire damaged flags in a tribute ceremony. When a US flag becomes worn, torn, faded or badly soiled it is considered 'unserviceable' and should be destroyed in a dignified manner. This program is for US flags only.
