Budget & Finance Sept. 20th Meeting

Budget & Finance Committee

Meeting was called to order by the Vice-Chair at 7:00 pm at Town Hall.

1. Committee Attendees: Ty Kehrer (Chair), Wes Elliott (Vice-Chair), Frank Puleo, Dale Urbanek and Ken Walsh.

2. Non-Committee Attendees: Wendy Taylor (SRP General Manager) and Suzanne Allen (SFMC).

3. Public Comment / Issues: None

4. No one electronically recorded the meeting.  Minutes were recorded for this meeting by Ty Kehrer.

5. Review and Adopt the Minutes from August 2017 Meeting. 

a. A vote to approve was made by Ken Wash, “The Budget and Finance Committee accepts the August minutes with the exception that we correct the location of the meeting and paragraph 8a.”  The motion was seconded by Frank Puleo. 
b. The motion passed with Dale Urbanek abstaining.

6. The Committee reviewed the financial statements for August 2017.

a. Frank Puleo made the motion that, “The Budget and Finance Committee accept the August 2017 financial statements as presented.”  The motion was seconded by Wes Elliott.
b. The motion passed “Unanimously”.

7. Investments:  None

8. Bid Review: 

a. The Committee reviewed bids for the 434 sidewalk concrete slab repairs on various streets.  Wes Elliott made the motion that, “The Budget and Finance Committee recommends the use of Brothers Paving and Concrete at a cost of up to $50,000 to replace 434 concrete sidewalk slabs on various streets.”  The motion was seconded by Frank Puleo.  The motion passed “Unanimously”.

9. Discussions – Volunteer party will be on November 3rd and is a costume party theme.

10. The meeting adjourned at 7:31 pm.
