Update on landscape renewal working group
Budget & Finance Committee approved the recommendation of the R&G Committee for the Meadows Farm Community Landscape Enhancement.  It will now go to the Board for final approval.

Update on Fishing Pier
Pier/dock went to Budget & Finance Committee for recommendation.  The Budget & Finance Committee recommended back to the R&G committee to get 3 bids on the project to include lighting along with additional bids for a pier/dock along a smaller scale.  Staff will be working to gather these bids.

Murrey Park Pavilion reservation policy - After much discussion it was decided that there would be no reservation policy put in place at this time.

Update on “Passive recreation Benches” - Three new black Cast Iron benches have been assembled and placed off Loudoun County Parkway trail and along Edgewater overlooking the Golf Course.

Meadows Pool Expansion - Meadows pool expansion is coming along.  Cement has been poured, electrical laid and irrigation installed.  A design overlay will be put down on the cement in the next few weeks.  The Pergola will be built over the new expanded area and then plants installed with the help of Meadows Farm.

Pool Shading - All the requested shading at the pools for 2011 has been approved by the Budget & Finance Committee and is now slated to go in front of the Board of Directors, at the recommendation of the B&F Committee, for final approval at their April meeting.

Dog Park at Elk Lick North - There are no zoning issues.  May have legal issues.  Loudoun County Code 612.13 does not allow dogs off leash.  The wording in this code will need to be changed.  SRP will work with County Supervisors to change the legal wording in the code so that it would be legal to have an enclosed off leash dog park.
