Senior Community Standards Advisor
Grace joined the South Riding team in 2015 and is a member of the Community Standards Department. Grace is always positive and you will likely see her walking around the community completing home inspections with a smile on her face.
Grace is a long time Northern Virginia resident originally hailing from New York’s Staten Island. She is happily married, a proud mother of three great kids and in January 2019 welcomed her first grandbaby into the family. She still has enough love left over for her “personal zoo” of 2 dogs, 3 cats, one very large and OLD gold fish (her trick is to fill the tank with spring water), 2 bearded dragons, a chinchilla, guinea pig, hamster and chickens. In her spare time, she loves cooking and spending time with her large extended family.
Grace works very hard and takes pride in doing her best for South Riding so if you see her please take a moment to say “hello”.

We are lucky to have Jose Gonzalez on the South Riding team. He joined our small office in March 2020 as a Community Standards Advisor within the Community Standards Department. He loves discovering new places to eat and believes in the importance of supporting local “Mom and Pop” restaurants.
Jose thinks highly of the South Riding community, has a great personality and enjoys helping people. When you see him around the community, please take a moment to say “hello”.
Community Standards Coordinator
We are happy to have Brittany Unthank on the South Riding team. She joined our team in March 2020 as the Community Standards Coordinator. We knew she’d be a great fit when we read the writing sample she submitted with her resume, it was unique, well-written, genuine and fun. She’s detail oriented and has a strong background in customer service that is a valuable support to our team. Brittany will be the first point of contact for many residents by email, phone or visit to Town Hall.
A native Virginian, Brittany spent a few years in the Myrtle Beach area enjoying the beach life before returning ‘home’. From an early age she loved animals and is currently sharing her home with a spunky 7- pound Morkie (dog, Maltese and Yorkie mix) named Minnie Mae and big brother Zeus, who she rescued as a kitten.
Brittany’s interests and outside work pursuits are very diverse, she likes traveling, cooking, drawing, and always has time and a heart to serve her community. She enjoys getting her nails done, buying home décor and collecting makeup and shoes. She also “digs” getting dirty – yardwork, paintball, mudding on a dirt bike or four-wheeler (aka quad), you name it, that’s a fun time for Brittany!
If you see or speak with Brittany, please take a moment to smile and thank her for her hard work on behalf of South Riding.

Joe being a native from Loudoun County and a long time team member, he has a great deal of historical knowledge which is another asset he bring to South Riding.
In his spare time, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife Lisa and their two daughters as well as caring for their farm. It is likely you have already or will see Joe and our other great Operations team members in the neighborhood plowing snow. If so, please take a moment to give Joe and the rest of the team a thank you wave for their service and tireless hours.
The South Riding Proprietary has two Operations Technicians that take care of the day to day operations and events of our community.
