COME ON BOARD!
We are seeking community members interested in serving on the South Riding Proprietary Board of Directors. The “Board of Directors” or “Board” is the executive entity established as the governing body of the Association. The Board sets policy, provides support, oversight and direction to the Staff, Committees and Working Groups. The day-to-day management of the community is overseen by the professional staff.
The time commitment necessary to serve is as follows:
♦ Attend the monthly Board meeting, typically held the 1st Thursday each month, Executive Session begins at 6pm, Open Session starts at 7pm and on average the meeting adjourns by 8pm. The packet of information is provided to Board members the Friday before the meeting.
♦ Attend a monthly Committee meeting serving as the liaison to the Board.
♦ Attend the annual budget meeting held jointly with the Budget and Finance Committee (August).
♦ Attend any scheduled Board orientation, training or planning sessions.

Complete and submit the candidate election profile and nomination petition no later than 5pm on March 21, 2024.
